The exhibition by animal artist Sporting Art of Bob White will open from Friday September 3 to October 23.

Ripple River Gallery

An exhibition entitled “A journey through the trees” will be on display until September 26th. Artist Denise Bunkert offers a meditative journey through the trees. The public is invited to meet the artist at the gallery’s annual fall open house and to benefit the Wild and Free Wildlife Rehabilitation Organization on September 25.

The art gallery is open 10 am to 5 pm Wednesday to Saturday; and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Masks are mandatory. For more information call 218-678-2575 or email [email protected].


Brainerd Public Library

Acrylic paintings by Brainerd Lake District artist Laura Garten are on display in a new exhibition until September 30. The exhibition includes 14 pieces featuring many natural subjects and outdoor scenes.

The Alliance of Crossed Arts

“Northern Waters,” on display by artists Lindsey Personius and Calihan Yliniemi, runs through Saturday, with an artists’ lecture from noon to 12:30 pm on Saturday, followed by a closing reception until 2:00 pm. A voluntary offering will be accepted at the door. Light refreshments will be served. People may like to mingle with other artists and art lovers.

The art gallery will be open during its regular opening hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The “Nelja” exhibition ends on Saturday. The exhibit showcases the work of four generations of women in the Aho family of central Minnesota.

The opening hours of the gallery are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays; and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Private tours and tours can be arranged by contacting Cheryl Bannes at 218-385-3339 or [email protected].
