LAKEWOOD, Ohio – A 10-year-old girl is following in her father’s footsteps by creating a series of artworks together that are on display at the Beck Center for Arts.
Side by Side: The Art of Ryan and Keira Finley began as a message from the Beck Center which was an image drawn by 10-year-old Kiera and one by her father Ryan. From there the line took off, they created tracks of all kinds of characters from movies, shows, and musicians. Plays include Star Wars, Baby Yoda, Beastly Boys, and more, essentially drawing any cultural classic.
Ryan Finley is a Cleveland-based freelance artist and professor of visual arts at the Beck Center. His daughter started drawing with him as soon as she could pick up a pencil. Now they are working together to create new pieces to add to their exhibit.
They sell their art, as well as sticker prints and buttons. It will be exhibited at the Beck Center until the end of February.
